State-Required Driver’s Education for Teens (NC DMV)
This course is mandatory for teens in North Carolina to obtain their learner’s permit at the DMV.
✅ Full Course Package – $540
Includes:
- 30 hours of classroom instruction
- 6 hours of behind-the-wheel training
✅ Behind-the-Wheel Only – $380
For students who have already completed and passed the 30-hour classroom portion at their high school.
Includes:
- 6 hours of driving instruction
✅ Private Lessons & Refresher Training
For individuals who already have a permit or license and want to improve their driving skills.
- $60 per hour
💳 Payment Methods: Card, Cash, Money Order, or Check.
🚫 No Virtual Classes – In-Person Only
Class Schedule
📅 Thursday & Friday: 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM
📅 Saturday: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
How to Register
To sign up for a class, behind-the-wheel instruction, or private lessons:
1️⃣ Email us at TrainingAcademy.rk@gmail.com with:
- Student’s full name
- Student’s email address
- Two contact phone numbers
2️⃣ You will receive a confirmation email with an appointment time at our office.
3️⃣ During your appointment, students and parents will:
- Sign a contract
- Complete the DMV form (eye check included)
- Receive class materials
4️⃣ If you do not receive a response within two days, please contact us again.
Behind-the-Wheel Scheduling
- After completing the classroom session, students will be scheduled for driving sessions based on age priority (oldest first).

For Adults (18+)
- We offer behind-the-wheel training for adults who have a valid NC Learner’s Permit or Driver’s License.
- First session requires a minimum of 2 hours.
- To schedule, email us with your name, address, and phone number.
Additional Information
- Behind-the-wheel training is available for students who have completed a 30-hour driver education course (high school or online).
- You must have a Driver Education Class completion certificate to obtain your learner’s permit.
- If you completed the classroom portion elsewhere, you must provide Form 800 with an eye check to be scheduled for driving.
